Tradies Toolbox Roadshow Bounces into Borinya!
Our Tradies Toolbox Roadshow rolled into Borinya Community Partnership last week, bringing trades, training and community connections together for a fantastic morning of conversations and career inspiration.
Lions Wangaratta were front and centre on breakfast duty, cooking up bacon and egg rolls to warm everyone up and get the conversations flowing!
Students had the opportunity to meet people working across a range of industries, including GAME Traffic Control, heavy diesel mechanics in the agricultural sector, building and construction, automotive and smash repairs, and fire and emergency services.
Our event partner, Master Builders Victoria, also helped six lucky students get work-ready by awarding them a brand-new pair of steel-cap work boots to support their upcoming work experience.
GOTAFE joined us to showcase the vocational education pathways available to students, including VCE VM, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, and further education and training after secondary school.
It was a morning filled with amazing conversations, inspiration and genuine community connection — exactly what the Tradies Toolbox Roadshow is all about!
