Discover Your Future with Rural City of Wangaratta July 23rd

Students across Wangaratta are invited to explore the exciting range of career opportunities available within local government at an upcoming Career Exposure Event hosted by Rural City of Wangaratta at Galen Catholic College.

While this event is proudly hosted by the Rural City of Wangaratta, NE Tracks LLEN is pleased to support the initiative as part of our commitment to helping young people succeed and encouraging them to take every opportunity to explore their future world of work.

This interactive event has been designed to inspire, engage and inform young people about the many career pathways available across Council's diverse departments. From engineering, planning, parks and gardens, environmental services and community development to administration, finance, customer service, libraries, events and more, students will gain valuable insight into the variety of roles that help keep our community thriving.

Council staff from a wide range of departments will be on hand to share their career journeys, answer questions and provide first-hand information about what it's like to work in local government. Students will have the opportunity to explore different industries, discover pathways after school and learn about the skills and qualifications that can lead to rewarding careers close to home.

We look forward to supporting Rural City of Wangaratta and welcoming students from senior secondary schools across the Wangaratta Local Government Area to what promises to be an engaging, inspiring and informative career exploration experience.
