Social Enterprise Schools - ACRE

logoS-ACRE_2x.png

ACRE’s flagship youth entrepreneurship program, ‘Social Enterprise Schools’ creates an enabling environment for young people to develop citizenship and entrepreneurial skills, mindsets and behaviours. The Social Enterprise Schools initiative is student led and provides a unique opportunity for students to learn by doing whilst igniting hidden talents to develop capabilities over the school year. This approach helps young people build employability, leadership and enterprise skills, helping to shift their mindset from seeing themselves as job seekers to job creators.

It brings students, teachers, local entrepreneurs and the community together to make a positive social impact. Through the process of setting up their own social enterprise, students develop the knowhow, knowledge and skills preparing them for the future. The Social Enterprise Schools program is suitable for students across primary, secondary and alternative education settings.

NE Tracks LLEN supports schools in Wangaratta, Benalla and Mansfield to participate in the Social Enterprise Schools program.
